Nothing compares to a visit to the land I once called home. Focşani isn’t actually a touristic city but here I was born and the feeling of coming back is unique. It is a good place for introspection: Who I was, who I am,…what am I still, what I’m not anymore.
I come here for my family but this weekend the timing was perfect because I’ve arrived just in time for the City day celebration”. All this kind of events are practically the same but the idea to spend quality time in this festive atmosphere sounded even more fun.
We gathered around and told stories and jokes but we had to go and admire the show out there. The main Boulevard was closed for cars and many booths were displayed on both sides of the way. The atmosphere? You can see it in the pictures: a lot of joy. People of all ages were participating to the concert singing and dancing along with the artists. We sat a little on a bench and admired for a little more time the view and then we left this madness behind (because it lasted some more time) and we headed home walking.
