Mărțișor Day

Mărțișor Day

This is the first calendaristic day of spring and it is a special day for romanians.

I absolutely love this time of the year and especially mărțișor tradition. Martisor it is a sort of a licky charm that is reinterpretated every year. From the most simple symbol, the white and red string, to totems made out of thread, wood, ceramics or any other material.

We also offer jewellery like brooches for the most sophisticated ones and they are tied with a thin white and red string. I like them all but this year I choose some classic handmade ones.

Lots of temporary markets are organized before this day and if you missed them this year I suggest you to add this on the list for next year. Many local artists exhibit their wonderful “charms” just so that you can find the perfect one for you.

Have a wonderful spring season!

Love, Andreea
